Museum of Contemporary Ideas

Museum of Contemporary Ideas http://toolshed.artschool.utas.edu.au/moci/home.html More than a museum it is really the pet project of an Australian artist, Peter Hill (despite his insistence that the museum is sited in Park Avenue, New York). His pages can be accessed through lift buttons which take one up (or down) to any of the 14 floors in the “building”. One can take a journey through the visual arts, philosophy, science, architecture, and technology. In the Encyclopaedia of Superfictions, for example, one can find information on projects by a host of imaginary creators and organisations. These names include Seymour Likely, Servaas, Juan Fontcuberta and Guillame Bijl, among others.
